The subtle yet profound energy cultivated by Master of Yoga, Meditation, and martial arts comes from unseen sources. A light touch from one attuned can have dramatic effects – immobilizing or destabilizing others with seeming defiance of physical laws.

This transcendent energy may appear to defy reality, yet its results are undeniable to those who experience it.

To access this energy, the practitioner must achieve profound alignment on multiple levels.

At its essence, alignment means to be upright and move with grace and integrity. But on a deeper level, it requires unifying all the principles of one’s practice – breath, present-moment awareness, committed presence, physical form, inner stillness and silence, and appropriate application of technique. Mind and body move as one seamless flow.

Complete alignment connects all the levels from which energy can be drawn, allowing this unified force to flow unobstructed through the body. In this state, the master’s techniques seem to emerge effortlessly from nowhere, appearing almost magical – yet there is a teachable structure underlying this “magic.”

In the beginning stages, alignment is simply a physical requirement – developing the muscles from the neck down through the core to the hips. This stable foundation allows the rest of the body to align and strengthen as the practice demands. Aligning these deep core muscles leads to improved posture, relaxation, injury prevention, breathing efficiency, and it becomes a wellspring of energetic vitality.

Ultimately, this cantered core becomes the source from which all movement arises, providing the physical basis to achieve higher levels of alignment.

With complete mind-body alignment and connection, one experiences a profound sense of integration where there is only one technique – the spontaneous expression of your complete self. In this space, all techniques flow forth.

Imagination is the tool used to connect the levels and facilitate this energy flow. Though imagined, the energy itself is very real and palpable – you feel it permeating your being as your practice partners feel its impact.

Physical energy releases as aligned muscles move with intentional form. This is the most accessible level but also becomes quickly depleted.

Mental energy derives from concentrated focus and formation of optimized neurological pathways, making movements increasingly skilful.

Many get stuck at the mental level, unable to tap deeper sources. Their practice stagnates, teachings becoming mere instruction.

Emotional energy arises as one’s actions, values and beliefs become unified. At this level, we give ourselves full permission and motivation to keep evolving and find profound strength to continually seek truth.

Spiritual energy flows when we realize our deepest purpose – knowing who we are, living our mission, manifesting our vision often through service to something greater than ourselves.

Each level of energy requires constant replenishment. If higher levels become depleted, it impacts the levels below.

The harmonization of body, heart, mind and spirit comes alive through disciplined practice, ultimately revealing an unshakable state of inner freedom, contentment and profound meaning.
